Haritakyadi Guggulu is an Ayurvedic medication used in the management of rheumatoid arthritis, and neuromuscular conditions. It is also used to treat arthritis and backache. It can also relieve constipation.

  • Sonth (dried ginger) – Zingiber Officinale
  • Vidhara – Argyreia Nervosa – 1 Part
  • Shuddha Guggulu – 6 Parts
  • Erand Tail – Castor Oil- Q.S.

HOW IT WORKS

Haritakyadi Guggulu works by producing a mild laxative action. It detoxifies the intestines and improves the bowel movements. It also improves the general well-being and boosts the strength of all organs in the body. It possesses anti-inflammatory and anti-rheumatic properties. It acts as a digestive tonic and stimulates the appetite.

RECOMMENDED DOSAGE

Adult patients can take Haritakyadi Guggulu in a daily dose of 375 mg to 1.5 grams, to be taken in 2 equally divided doses. The recommended dose for children is 125 to 375 mg, in two divided doses per day. The maximum allowed dose of this medication is 3 grams per day. Patients should take the doses after food preferably with warm milk, or water.
